The Burning of the Boxes happens after a feast in Mothmas name. However no box burning must be during the Week of Mothma, for it may anger Him. Box Burning can occur on any night at any time otherwise. It transpires immediately after a Feasting of Mothma. Using the hot foodcoals any empty beer boxes or soda boxes are thrown into the fire creating a bright and signaling light for Mothma. A mass box burning is more accepted than a smaller box burning. Not all of the boxes are thrown into the fire at once. It is one or two at a time, feeding the Holy Flames, to show Mothma appreciation. The longer the flames burn the happier Mothma becomes. The happier His holiness is the more gifts he may shower you with.
